Job summary
A recognized retail business is seeking a Data Privacy Professional for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Nottingham. You will oversee the privacy compliance program, manage key stakeholders, and develop GDPR processes. The role includes managing a junior compliance professional and ensuring alignment with data privacy legislation. The position offers a salary up to £90,000 plus benefits including a car allowance, pension, and bonus.

Our client is a recognised retail business in Nottingham seeking a Data Privacy Professional on 12 month fixed term maternity cover, starting asap.
Reporting into the Compliance & Privacy Director, you will play a key role in ensuring that business remains on the front foot from a data privacy perspective and the opportunity will see you take on responsibilities including:
- Managing the privacy compliance programme, along with management of key internal stakeholders.
- Develop & maintain GDPR processes, policies and procedures & deliver training updates to the business.
- Carry out DPIA's, support incident response planning and breach reporting procedures.
- Support on internal audits and assurance activities related to data privacy compliance.
- Managing a junior compliance professional.
This is a great opportunity for a Data Privacy Professional coming available on short notice seeking to add to their experience in a fast paced, large retail business.
The salary is up to £90,000 plus a £6,000 car allowance, pension, holidays and bonus.
