Overview

Legal Secretary - Private Client — Cranleigh, Surrey. Well established law firm seeking a Legal Secretary to work within their Private Client department in Cranleigh.

This role will be assisting a busy team of three fee earners in their day-to-day work by providing support and an efficient secretarial and administrative service.

Responsibilities
  • Production of accurate and timely documents and correspondence via audio dictation
  • Maintenance of comprehensive and accurate client administration files
  • Assistance with the smooth running of client transactions and contribution to overall departmental work cycles
  • Frequent liaison with clients and third parties by telephone and in person, delivering exceptional client service
  • Provide secretarial support including using a digital dictation system
  • Reception duties: meeting and greeting clients, arranging meeting room bookings
Requirements
  • Experience of working as a Legal Secretary
  • Strong and efficient secretarial and admin skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Audio transcription skills; fast accurate typing
  • Experience of using case management is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Very well organised; friendly & professional attitude
  • IT literate: Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook / Digital Audio software
