Job Description
Commercial law firm in Oxford is looking to recruit a non-contentious Construction lawyer of 3 or more years’ PQE. With this Construction department’s recent business wins trending towards challenging, high-profile work on the transactional side you should ideally be very familiar with JCT and NEC contracts from a purely construction and property development perspective. The team is looking for candidates who are keen to work on large infrastructure, rail and green energy projects and who are looking to develop their projects experience. In view of this, they would be interested in candidates with high calibre construction experience acquired at a leading , regional or City law firm. In addition, candidates with in-house legal experience at major contractors, consultants or public bodies will also be very much of interest.
Applicants will be confident and personable and very familiar with JCT and NEC forms. The firm supports hybrid working, typically with 2-3 days flexible office attendance, according to business need.
