Urgent Contract Business Analyst

MUST have Financial Services/ Insurance & ideally Mortgage experience

Fully remote & outside IR35

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong understanding of infrastructure design and IT engineering. The successful candidate will combine technical agility with commercial awareness to support the delivery of mission‑critical solutions within the Financial Services sector, with a particular emphasis on speed to market and business value.

• Lead requirements gathering and analysis for infrastructure and technology initiatives.
• Work closely with technical teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and solution designs.
• Conduct GAP analysis, identify improvement opportunities, and support end‑to‑end solution mapping.
• Simplify complex technical and business challenges into well‑structured documentation and recommendations.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder sessions to elicit detailed business and functional requirements.
• Collaborate across multi-disciplined and geographically dispersed teams to ensure alignment and delivery success.
• Support project managers and engineers throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring requirements traceability and solution integrity.
• Influence key stakeholders and negotiate priorities to achieve optimal business outcomes.

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services or other regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems engineering, and solution design principles.
• Proven track record supporting mission‑critical or high‑availability systems.
• Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and process mapping skills.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multi‑disciplinary, multi‑location teams.
• Commercially aware with a focus on delivering rapid, high‑impact solutions.

• Experience working with cloud or hybrid infrastructure projects (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Exposure to ITIL or enterprise service management processes.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.
