Job Title: Home Carer / Care Assistant

Location:[Shoreham by Sea , Lancing , Worthing, East Preston , Angmering and Littlehampton and surrounding areas in West Sussex]
Reports to:Care Coordinator / Registered Manager
Contract Type:[Full-time / Part-time / Temporary / Permanent]
Salary:[from 12.21 per hour to 24.42, Live in £700 per week]

Job Purpose

To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. The Home Carer assists with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship in accordance with each person’s care plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist service users withpersonal caretasks such as washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support withmeal preparation, feeding, and hydration, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Providemedication supportin line with care plans and company policies.
  • Help withmobility and transfers, including the safe use of mobility aids and equipment.
  • Carry outdomestic taskssuch as cleaning, laundry, and shopping where required.
  • Offercompanionship and emotional support, promoting mental well-being.
  • Assist withappointments, social activities, and community engagement.
  • Observe and report any changes in the service user’s health or circumstances to the supervisor or care coordinator.
  • Maintain accurate and timelycare records and reports.
  • Adhere tosafeguarding,confidentiality, andhealth and safetyprocedures at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Up-to-date training in First Aid, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration
