Refrigeration Engineer

A leading resource management company is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer in Leeds to perform maintenance and repairs on CO2 refrigeration systems. Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and reactive refrigeration maintenance across several sites.
- Service and repair CO2 refrigeration pack equipment.
- Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery.
Skills
Education
Refrigeration Engineer – Leeds + surrounding areas. Permanent role. Salary £46,791.53 (salary including on call standby 1:4).
- Carrying out PPM and reactive refrigeration maintenance across a number of sites.
- Service and repair a range of CO2 refrigeration pack equipment.
- Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Refrigeration Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
- Carry out minor alterations and installations within the individual's technical competence in accordance with current specifications.
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 within Refrigeration or Equivalent Qualification.
- City and Guilds 2079-1 FGas Category 1.
- Experience working with supermarket refrigeration systems.
- Flexible to be part of the 24/7 on-call rota every 1:4 weeks.
- Full driving license.
- Experience using a PDA system.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Carried out PPM and reactive maintenance within a similar retail environment.
- £46,791.53 (salary including standby 1:4)
- 25 days + 8 bank holidays
- Travel time after ½ hour each way
- OT - paid at £31.92
- Van, fuel card, tools, uniform, IT equipment provided
