An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated band 6 practitioner to join the Leeds Childrens and Young Persons Community Eating Disorder Service. The post holder will work as part of a dynamic and busy service as part of a full multidisciplinary team. We are a citywide multidisciplinary team from a range of backgrounds, including psychiatry, nursing, psychology, paediatrics, social work and dietetics. We provide specialist assessment and intervention for young people up to the age of 18 and their families. We are exploring innovative ways of working through the development of new treatment pathways and are committed to going beyond expectations in engaging and supporting our families and young people. The successful candidate will work independently and with the wider staff team along with young people and their families. The role will provide general and advanced support and interventions in order to enhance the patient journey by improving the provision of nutrition and care in addition to facilitating service efficiency and positive outcomes. You will join a multi-disciplinary team which provides professional support and offers collaborative working.
