A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Accounting Technician for a full-time office-based position in Belfast. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of proven experience and a strong understanding of accounting principles. Responsibilities include processing transactions, preparing financial reports, and assisting with month-end closings. This role offers a permanent opportunity to join a reputable finance team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accounting Technician or similar role for 2 years.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience in Sage Accounts.
Responsabilités
- Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately and promptly.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Maintain and update financial records and files.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Respond to internal and external financial inquiries.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned to support the finance department.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity, office based.
