A leading support organization for autistic individuals in Belfast seeks a Senior Support Worker. This role involves providing direct support to autistic adults, helping them achieve independence and participate in the community. Candidates should have experience in social care management and possess strong leadership skills. The position offers flexible hours and various employee benefits, including a pension scheme and training programs.
We support people to understand their diagnosis and how this may impact on their life and the lives of those around them. Our residential services provide accommodation and support for autistic adults 52 weeks a year, 24 hours a day in urban and rural settings. We also provide supported living services for autistic adults who need extra help to live in their own homes or within our accommodation, whether as tenants or owner occupiers, living alone, or with others.
We have come a long way but there is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for people on the spectrum. With your help, we can make it happen.

We are looking for Senior Support Workers with the passion to work with our fantastic teams. You’ll be resilient, supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people. Suitable candidates will have experience of management and/or shift leading within a social care setting. Being a Senior Support Worker takes leadership skills, patience and commitment. But working with autistic people gives so much more in return.
Are you passionate about working with autistic people and their families? We are looking to recruit Support Workers to provide direct 121 support to autistic children and young people at our social activities based in our Carryduff Autism Centre.
This is a bank role and includes week nights and weekends. We are a passionate, innovative and committed team and are looking for similar individuals to join us. We provide excellent training.
Your working pattern in this role will require flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families, and will include evening and weekend working.
This advert is for a bank position, 0 hours per week. The salary for this role is £13.01 per hour.
The role includes:
