Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Accounting Technician for a full-time office-based position in Belfast. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of proven experience and a strong understanding of accounting principles.   • Prepare and post journal entries accurately and promptly.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Maintain and update financial records and files.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
  • Respond to internal and external financial inquiries.
  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned to support the finance department.

Accounting Technician | North Belfast | Permanent

Reed Accountancy & Finance are working closely with an established and reputable business based in Belfast and are actively recruiting for an Accounting Technician to join their finance team.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity, office based.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Prepare and post journal entries accurately and promptly
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Maintain and update financial records and files
