Job summary

A global video games and media entertainment brand is looking for Japanese speaking Translators fluent in either French, German, Italian, or Spanish. In this role, you will translate and proofread content for video games while collaborating with editing teams. Candidates should have strong communication skills in English and prior translation experience, preferably in the gaming sector. This role offers a salary range of £39,000 - £59,000 and the flexibility to work remotely or from London or Dublin.

Qualifications

  • Translation experience required.
  • Previous experience in gaming industry is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing specialized technical programs.

Responsibilities

  • Translate and proofread video games content from Japanese into French, German, Italian or Spanish.
  • Work closely with in-house professionals on translation aspects.
  • Handle existing glossaries and assist team in task interactions.

Skills

Fluent in Japanese
Fluent in either French, German, Italian or Spanish
Good written and oral communication skills in English
