The Interim Senior Finance Officer will play a vital role in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance within the not-for-profit sector. This temporary position based in London requires expertise in accounting and finance to support the organisation's goals.

This is a well-established organisation within the not-for-profit sector, known for its commitment to supporting meaningful initiatives. Operating as a medium-sized entity, it provides a structured and professional environment for its team.

• Oversee daily financial operations, including reconciliations and reporting.


• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.


• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and organisational policies.


• Support the budgeting process and monitor expenditure against forecasts.


• Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes.


• Assist in audit preparation and liaise with auditors as required.


• Provide financial advice and guidance to team members and other departments.


• Manage accounting systems and oversee any system upgrades or changes.

• A strong background in accounting and finance, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.


• Experience in AP, AR and month end


• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.


• An analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.


• The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

• Competitive daily rate of approximately £135 to £155, depending on experience.
