A leading law firm in Bristol is looking for a Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor to manage a caseload, supervise junior lawyers, and engage in business development. Ideal candidates will have 5+ PQE in commercial litigation and strong client-handling skills. The firm offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement and a comprehensive benefits package, promoting work/life balance and wellbeing.
Commercial Litigation Solicitor/FCILEX | Bristol (Hybrid) | 5+ PQE | £55k - £70k | Legal 500 Firm
If you’re an experienced commercial litigator with five or more years’ PQE and you’re ready to take on a senior role, this is an excellent opportunity to join one of Bristol’s best-known mid-sized firms.
The firm has built a strong reputation in the local market – both as a provider of high-quality legal services for individuals and businesses, and as a genuinely progressive employer. With a turnover of around £15 million and six offices across the city, they combine the resources of a leading regional practice with the culture of a close-knit, supportive team. Their Associate and Training Academies reflect a real commitment to development, progression, and wellbeing.
The commercial litigation team is at the heart of the firm’s dispute resolution offering. You’ll be joining a highly collaborative group, working alongside colleagues in Corporate + Commercial, Commercial Property, Employment, and Property Litigation. The caseload is varied and high-value, covering everything from contractual and shareholder disputes to professional negligence, insolvency, debt recovery, and claims arising out of corporate acquisitions. The work frequently involves ADR and mediation, and there’s scope to be hands-on with advocacy depending on your skills and interest.
This is a full-time role based at the firm’s central Bristol office, with flexible hybrid working available once probation is complete. Part-time candidates will also be considered. In return, you’ll benefit from a modern, people-first culture that prioritises work/life balance and wellbeing, alongside a comprehensive benefits package and real scope for progression.
If this sounds like the right step up for you, send your CV to mohamed.hamza@qedlegal.com.
