Job description
Overview

About The Role. Are you passionate about maintaining high standards and ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our customers? LiveWest is looking for a dedicated Estate Officer to join our Estate Services team, working at our Plymouth scheme that offers accommodation to young people aged 16–25. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives in a collaborative environment where creating a homely, secure space for young residents is a top priority.

Responsibilities
  • Property Maintenance: Carry out minor maintenance and repairs to ensure properties remain in excellent condition. You\'ll play a vital role in helping young people feel safe and supported in their living environment. Report major repairs and liaise with contractors to ensure timely and effective solutions.
  • Cleaning and Decorating: Maintain communal areas—including gardens—and prepare vacated properties for new customers by cleaning and redecorating. Your work will help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that supports young people in building independence.
  • Security Management: Ensure communal areas are secure by locking and unlocking facilities at agreed times. You\'ll also be responsible for maintaining the security of void properties, helping to safeguard the wellbeing of our young residents.
  • Customer Service: You\'ll provide excellent customer service and support, helping young people settle into their new environment with confidence.
  • Stock and Administration: Manage cleaning materials inventory, keep records of expenditure, and ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Why Apply?

We offer a supportive work culture where your contributions are recognised and valued. Join us and be part of a team that is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our customers and the wider community.

This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis working 37 hours per week from Monday - Friday. This is a field based role covering the Plymouth area. For further information about this role, please view our candidate information pack.

  • Experience or confidence to liaise with contractors and sometimes act as the main point of contact between them and the customer.
  • Ability to work using own initiative and remain calm under pressure.
