A charity organization is looking for a Housing Support Worker in Harrow to support vulnerable homeless people with mental health and substance misuse issues. Location: The post will be based at EACH Harrow, but will be required to work off- site, remotely and any of EACH’s offices based on the needs of the service.
Salary: £27,300 – £30,095 per annum (inclusive of Outer London Weighting)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Permanent (subject to performance and continued funding) by L.B. of Harrow

Housing Support is an approach to intensively and flexibly support the most entrenched, excluded and hard to reach clients, who traditionally have struggled to remain in settled housing. Housing Support worker offers people their own home and then gives them the intensive support needed to maintain their tenancies and move on with their lives away from the streets or hostels.
This service is part of EACH’s wider Harrow Housing Related Support Service which also incorporates both generic and specialist support. The combined service supports promotes tenancy sustainment and prevents homelessness.
This particular role and part of the service is particularly targeted at rough sleepers with complex needs and those who have not sustained temporary or supported accommodation in the past.
