IT Engineer

£35,000 based on experience

Manchester, with occasional site visits around the country

We are looking for a talented mid-level IT allrounder to join our growing technical team based in Manchester. We’re a company underpinned by technology that keeps our business, with sites nationally, running effectively and require someone to help with day to day management of our systems, handle change requests and support our wider team. You will be able to work with our team and suppliers so being organised, a clear communicator and being able to work independently of direction is critical to the role.

We’re looking for a candidate who can demonstrate experience with:

• Office 365
• Domains / Active Directory
• Group Policy
• Sharepoint
• Windows Server / Windows 10
• Networking, VLANS, CIDR blocks, conceptual routing scenarios and MPLS networks
• Softphone / SIP clients
• Common website issues diagnosis such as browser caches, console errors

If you have experience in the following, it’ll be an added bonus:

• Server performance monitoring
• Access systems and building access control
• Database backups
• Server memory and CPU optimisation
• Microsoft Intune
• 2FA implementation and management
• Mobile Device Management
• BitLocker management
• Physical networking and cabling
• Gamma Horizon phone systems
• Desktop / Laptop automated builds
• IT asset management
