Job Overview

The Deputy Chief Operating Officer will provide leadership to all divisions, ensuring the effective implementation of national and local strategies and the delivery of service objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, providing leadership to all divisions.
  • Working within the Operational Leadership Team with the Clinical Director for Clinical Governance and the Deputy Director of Nursing.
  • Building strong working relationships to ensure quality and efficient services.
  • Holding overall responsibility for the operational management of the Divisions via direct line management of Divisional General Managers.
  • Leading on designated trust-wide developments to integrate and streamline services.
  • Possessing the drive and motivation for continual performance improvement within the clinical and managerial workforce.

Candidates must have high-level operational and strategic business planning and leadership experience to ensure the Divisions provide high-quality patient care and achieve their performance objectives.
