Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Head of Finance for a well-established commercial business in Borehamwood. The ideal candidate will oversee the accounting function, lead month-end reporting, and ensure compliance with UK legislation. Applicants should be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with excellent communication skills and a strong background in financial reporting. Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within an SME environment.
- Ability to manage small transactional teams effectively.
- Strong technical financial skills required.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end reporting processes.
- Prepare annual financial statements including subsidiaries.
- Involve in treasury and cash flow reporting.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations weekly.
- Prepare annual budgets and monitor forecasts.
- Implement reporting systems for better insights.
- Keep updated with UK accounting legislation.
