Chief Financial Officer | £120,000 to £150,000 | West Lancashire | Rapidly Growing SME | Preparing for External Investment

Axon Moore have been exclusively retained by a new client in the Lancashire area to identify and hire a new CFO. This is a newly created role for the business that will partner with their existing owners as they prepare to sell the business to private equity.

The CFO will accompany an industry specialist CEO who has been the catalyst behind their very impressive growth curve over the past 24 months.

It's important to note that as they're an SME, this is a pivotal role that will combine both strategic insight as well as hands‑on financial stewardship. The candidate must demonstrate their suitability for the role both pre & post investment.

Desired experience includes:

• Previous FD / CFO of a PE backed business
• Experience of a successful exit
• Hands‑on M&A Experience
• Integration Experience
• Proficient in creating a data room suitable for external advisorsli>
• Experienced in creating board packs to a PE standard
