Job Title: Assistant Financial Controller

Bell Cornwall Recruitment are pleased to be hiring a Assistant Financial Controller for a fantastic business in Leamington Spa.

The Candidates responsibilities:

• Assisting with day to day accounting duties.
• Ensuring accuracy in accounting processes.
• Ensuring transactions are recorded in the right place and period.
• Improve strategies and ensure all principles and practices are consistently applied across all work and transactions.
• Be the first port of call for any technical accounting queries.
• Lead, manage and motivate the team.
• Provide a good service to all external individuals this could be clients, stakeholders etc.
• Support Financial Controller with all ad hoc tasks.

Skills Needed:

• An accounting qualification or fully qualified accountant is necessary – AAT Level 4, ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
• Previous experience in a similar role is necessary – 5 years minimum.
• Knowledge of SAGE is ideal.
• Confidence in identifying any issues with the ability to resolve them effectively and efficiently.
• Knowledge of Microsoft, general IT and email/internet knowledge is necessary.
• Be confident when it comes to decision making and taking on any queries.
