A luxury care home provider in Eastbourne seeks a General Manager to oversee the operational excellence and high-quality care at Saltwater Manor. You will manage all aspects of the home, ensuring residents receive specialized personal care and the team is nurtured. Ideal candidates will have care home commissioning experience and strong leadership skills. You will ensure compliance with regulations while fostering a caring environment.
Saltwater Manor is part of Oyster Care Homes, focused on creating luxury care homes where residents receive the best care and where team members have rewarding careers. The home at Saltwater Manor, Eastbourne is under construction and set to open in April 2026. We are recruiting for key positions to ensure a smooth opening and ongoing development opportunities for every team member.
We are currently recruiting a General Manager for Saltwater Manor to take overall responsibility and manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the home. You will promote a caring environment that provides residents with a high standard of specialised personal care, meeting individual needs and ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity, with rights to privacy, independence and choice respected. You will supervise, monitor and evaluate the care delivered to residents, ensuring legal requirements are met alongside the highest standards expected within the care home.
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for care and who are keen to be the best in the sector. You will work as part of a dynamic care team, ensuring the home adheres to the necessary requirements and procedures at all times.
Your hours of work will be 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday with some flexibility as required. This will equate to 40 hours per week in total.
