Job Title: Cost Assessment Assistant Manager - P&U

Base Location: London, Birmingham & Manchester

• This role focuses on Power & Utilities projects but offers exposure to end-to-end engagements within the broader Infrastructure Advisory Group.

Responsibilities:

• Work on projects in water and energy sectors, focusing on cost assessment and benchmarking.
• Provide expert advice on cost benchmarking and econometric models comparing costs across companies.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses, report drafting, economic and econometric analysis.

Requirements:

• Some experience in the UK utilities sector preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, microeconomics, or finance, or a strong understanding of microeconomic principles.
• Experience in quantitative economic analysis, statistics, econometrics, preferably with STATA.

Desirable Skills:

• Background with a consulting firm, water/energy company, or regulator such as Ofgem/ofwat is a plus.
