What you can add:
  • Manage a caseload of clients with complex needs using evidence based/client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate group and 1-1 interventions, in collaboration with other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Develop links with relevant community services and agencies, taking a lead in promoting employment and vocational pathways to support service users' recovery, inclusion, and reintegration.
  • To provide leadership for junior staff and students, through supervision and appraisal.
  • To participate in the planning, development and evaluation of OT / MDT services, holding responsibility for defined projects.
What you'll need:
  • Must be a Qualified Occupational Therapist with an active HCPC Registration with no restrictions to practice.
  • Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development (CPD).
  • Substantial experience working in mental health services and/or acute inpatient settings.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions for individuals with complex mental health needs.
Desirable:
  • Forensic experience
