Job summary

A leading global beverage company is seeking a Food Safety Lead at their Leven Processing site. This role is critical for shaping food safety for new non-alcoholic product lines. Responsibilities include leading food safety systems and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Applicants should have a degree in Microbiology or Food Science, alongside strong experience in beverage manufacturing. Competitive benefits and a permanent full-time contract are offered.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of classical microbiology techniques.
  • Experience in beverage manufacturing, preferably spirits.
  • Familiarity with high-speed bottling and hygienic zoning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Food Safety plan for all alcoholic and non-alcoholic products.
  • Ensure site readiness for food safety audits.
  • Manage food safety incidents for both product categories.

Skills

Microbial risk management
Microbiology techniques
CIP and COP systems
Food safety management systems
Practical experience with low and no alcohol products

Education

Degree in Microbiology, Food Science, or related field
