A growing engineering business near Stansted is seeking a proactive Head of Finance to lead financial activities and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate will have significant finance leadership experience and be proficient in Sage 200. Responsibilities include preparing management accounts and overseeing financial controls. Competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum with alternate Fridays off.
Seeking a proactive Head of Finance to lead the finance function of a growing engineering business near Stansted. Reporting directly to senior management, you will take ownership of financial activities, ensure compliance, and provide clear, accurate reporting to support decision-making. You will manage one team member and drive process improvement in a dynamic SME environment.
Role: Head of Finance
Location: Near Stansted, Essex
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Week 1: Mon-Thurs 07:30-17:00, Fri 07:30-13:30; Week 2: Mon-Thurs only, 07:30-17:00; Average of 39 hours per week
