Finance Director

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Finance Director to join a well-established business. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Finance Director will be responsible for ensuring the financial viability of the company while supporting strategic growth across all departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the finance and accounting strategy to optimise financial performance
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the MD and senior leadership team
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial controls
  • Ensure accurate and timely management accounts and board reporting
  • Manage financial risk and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Lead, develop, and performance-manage the finance team
  • Support business growth initiatives and system improvements
Requirements
  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Current member of CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
  • Member of IoD, CMI or equivalent professional body
  • Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience
  • Proven experience managing multi-million-pound budgets
  • Experience working at board/SLT level
  • Background in manufacturing or engineering preferred
  • Strong leadership, commercial awareness, and strategic mindset
