Job summary

A leading aircraft maintenance company is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic at its Biggin Hill Service Centre. The successful candidate will perform maintenance tasks, adhere to safety procedures, and document work in accordance with maintenance data. Ideal candidates will have civil maintenance experience and relevant knowledge of aviation regulations. This role offers a dynamic work environment within a growing service center in the UK.

Qualifications

  • Experience in civil aircraft maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of Part-66 and Part-145.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Maintenance Organization Procedures.
  • Perform and document maintenance work.
  • Identify and report defective aircraft components.
  • Order parts using SAP.
  • Correct defects under supervision.

Skills

Civil maintenance experience
Knowledge of Part-66 requirements
Knowledge of Part-145
Knowledge of EWIS and CDCCL
Understanding human factors
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Effective communication skills
Ability to use standard and special tools
Ability to work with maintenance data
Basic PC skills
