Job summary
A leading financial services company is seeking an Events Lead in Swindon to design and deliver impactful events connecting CFOs with key decision-makers. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of B2B event management experience and strong project management skills. This full-time role involves managing event logistics, promotion, and performance tracking to align with business goals. Remote working is also available for part of the week.

- 3+ years of experience in B2B event management, ideally in professional or financial services.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a strategic events calendar aligned with marketing goals.
- Plan and execute in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
- Own the complete event promotion; pre and post-event follow-up.
- Collaborate with the commercial team for local market events.
- Manage venue sourcing, supplier management, and logistics.

We are now looking for a commercially minded Events Lead to lead the planning and execution of high-impact events that connect our CFOs with business owners, MDs/CEOs and key decision-makers.
As Events Lead, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a calendar of events that support lead generation and brand positioning. You’ll work closely with the marketing and regional teams to ensure each event delivers measurable value.
- Develop and manage a strategic events calendar aligned with marketing and business development goals.
- Plan and execute a mix of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events including:
- Thought leadership webinars
- Face to face regional events
- Helping support with partnership events
- Helping support wider business in any company events
- Own the complete end to end event promotion; pre-event and post event follow up.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to tailor events to local market needs.
- Own end-to-end event delivery: venue sourcing, supplier management, logistics, delegate management, and post-event reporting.
- Work with the content and digital teams to promote events and maximise attendance.
- Track KPIs such as attendance, engagement, lead quality, and ROI.
- Ensure all events reflect The CFO Centre’s premium brand and values.
- 3+ years of experience in B2B event management, ideally in professional services or financial services.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience managing budgets and negotiating with suppliers.
- Confident using event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Eventbrite, HubSpot, or similar).
- Understanding of lead generation and sales enablement through events.
