Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Retail Stock Counter to join established teams working across various retail sites. The role involves counting stock accurately using handheld scanners while managing shifts that can include early mornings and nights. Candidates must be 18 or older and demonstrate reliability and a positive attitude. The position offers immediate starts, free transport to selected sites, generous holiday pay, and opportunities for progression.

Skills
A flexible role for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, early starts and being part of a close‑knit team on the road.
You will be joining established minibus teams, working across a range of retail sites. Travel is provided for certain locations, with shifts varying week to week.
- £12.25 per hour plus £1.48 holiday pay
- Access to wages 3 to 7 days after shift completion
- Typical week of 3 to 4 shifts
- Shifts range from 8 to 12 hours
- Early mornings and night shifts required
As a Retail Stock Counter, you will support stocktaking activity across retail stores, ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately.
Key duties include:
- Counting stock using a handheld scanner
- Working accurately at pace to tight deadlines
- Standing for long periods during counts
- Using access equipment when required to reach higher stock
- Travelling to different retail sites as part of a team
- Aged 18 or over
- Comfortable working unsociable hours
- Positive, reliable and keen to learn
- Able to work long shifts when required
- Stock handling experience helpful but not essential
- Free transport to selected sites
- Early access to wages
