This role sits within a commercial operations team supporting the financial and commercial management of live projects. It\'s well suited to someone with a foundation in finance, commercial analysis, or project support who wants broader exposure across budgeting, reporting, and operational processes in a structured, project-led environment.

You\'ll work closely with project and finance stakeholders, contributing to accurate reporting, cost control, and month-end activity, while continuing to build your commercial skillset.

• Supporting the preparation, maintenance, and review of project budgets and forecasts
• Tracking project costs, commitments, and variances against approved budgets
• Assisting with month-end project financial close, including reconciliations and revenue-related activities
• Producing regular project performance reports, KPIs, and financial summaries
• Ensuring accurate cost coding and financial data entry within project systems
• Working with project managers, finance, and procurement teams to resolve cost or timing issues
• Supporting wider commercial and finance processes such as invoicing, purchase orders, and internal controls

• At least 12 months\' experience in a finance, commercial, or project support role
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
• A methodical, detail-focused approach with good numerical ability
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
• Experience using ERP or finance systems is beneficial but not essential
