To provide a professional and comprehensive service for orthopaedic pre‑op. acting in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Respond to requests for information promptly and efficiently using a variety of communication methods, ensuring that Trust Customer Service standards are adhered to.
Ensure information is accurate and meets Trust Standards regarding delivering information. The post holder will be multi‑skilled and have a good working knowledge of waiting list templates, PTL management, theatre capacity and demand issues, and acknowledge the national, local and specialist targets that have to be achieved.

Perform an ambassadorial role, representing the Pre‑op Department administration service acting in a professional, courteous and customer‑focused manner at all times.
Contact patients with bookings information, liaise with other departments to schedule patients as appropriate, answer telephone and email queries, take messages, direct where appropriate, meet and greet and provide assistance directing visitors to the department to appropriate locations.
Maintain confidentiality at all times as required by legislation and Trust Policy.
