A leading recruitment agency in the UK is looking for a Patient Booker to support clinical operations. The individual will be responsible for checking referrals, contacting patients, logging interactions, and preparing necessary documentation. Responsibilities

Job Details
  • Position: Patient Booker
  • Location: Stoke on Trent
  • Contract Type: Temporary (3 months initially)
  • Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Hourly Rate: Up to £12.60
Role Summary
  • Checking referrals from acute service teams or GPs for patient suitability to be seen within clinical units.
  • Contacting suitable patients to offer appointments, recording outcomes, ensuring patients receive and understand all required information and medications, escalating clinical queries to a nurse.
  • Logging all contact received and made with patients in line with required process.
  • Preparing patient notes and historical health information for appointments.
  • Reporting outcomes of appointments timely to schedule follow‑up activity and facilitate billing.
  • Supporting audit activities, checking historic patient outcome data and assisting in stock piling/ordering of equipment and consumables.
