A technical recruitment firm is looking for a Field Service Engineer (CNC) to support CNC machines across Scotland and the North of England. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and servicing CNC lathes, along with various mechanical and electrical tasks, ensuring seamless operations on customer sites. The ideal candidate will have a proven CNC field service background and relevant apprenticeship or experience. Competitive salary and comprehensive perks are offered.
Field Service Engineer (CNC)
Location: Scotland-based (ideally Central Belt); cover Scotland and North of England, with occasional travel further afield
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 DOE OTE: £50,000+ achievable (per hiring manager)
Vehicle: Company van provided; fuel covered
Tech: CNC lathes and machining centres; controls: FANUC, Siemens, Heidenhain, Mitsubishi
Tools: Company laptop and mobile (calls/texts covered)
Overtime & Pay: Door-to-door paid. Weekdays & Saturdays x1.5. Sundays x2. Travel time OT paid at hourly rate
Holidays: 32 days (incl. bank holidays)
Pension: Company scheme (after 3 months)
Start: Immediate start preferred; minimal handover/training
