Overview

This Maintenance role is working with a very successful 100+ year old market-leading international manufacturing business based close to the Northwich area.

The role is days-based working Monday to Friday. Salary dependant on skills and experience. Premium overtime is also available, this role also offers fantastic opportunities for both personal development and top-level accredited training.

Role and Responsibilities

The role will be working as part of a team providing hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance to their manufacturing machinery, working on hydraulics, conveyors, gearboxes, shafts and bearings, inverters and PLCs etc.

  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday split days (6am - 2pm)

Main Duties & Experience required
  • Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support, and mechanical repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained.
  • Experience covering motors, drives, inverters, conveyors, gearboxes, PLCs etc
  • Multi-skilled maintenance experience is also desirable
  • High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
  • Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions to problems.
To Be Successful as a Maintenance Engineer
  • You will need to hold the following qualifications to be considered: City and Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Advanced Apprentice Trained etc in engineering
  • Maintenance Engineering experience
  • Planned and reactive maintenance experience
