Overview

Role: Trainee Maintenance Engineer

Location: Leicester

Shift: Double days - 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm

Salary: £33,000 plus plenty of overtime to easily earn more, Pension, Development and training

They are currently looking for a Trainee Maintenance Engineer at their site in Leicester, this is one of their most important functions within the business. This is a great opportunity with a global company with lots of on the job and external training starting. There is a very clear progression path from Trainee to be a vital member of the Maintenance Team.

The Role

• As a Trainee Maintenance Engineer your responsibilities include:
• Performing Preventive Maintenance on various bits of equipment including Sorters, Conveyors, cranes and associated systems
• Responding to Emergency repairs to minimise site downtime and keep the efficiency of the site high
• Working underneath the Maintenance engineers learning on the job and working with issues and system performance
• Keep the flow of product running through the factory

• Have the passion to succeed in the world of Engineer
• Someone willing to learn and develop their technical skillset
• Has some form of hand on experience
