The role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Multinational Insurance Coordinator to join our Global & Corporate Risks Team at Howden.

As a Multinational Insurance Coordinator within the Global & Corporate Risks Team at Howden, you will play a vital role by working in partnership with producing brokers and ensuring the smooth coordination and management of multinational insurance placements across various clients.

You will be responsible for facilitating communication, documentation, and support for insurance programs that span multiple regions and jurisdictions.

What you’ll do

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for multinational brokers and their clients.
  2. In collaboration with producing brokers, coordinate the implementation, renewal, and mid-term adjustments of insurance policies for their multinational clients, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.
  3. Collaborate with underwriters, brokers, and other internal teams to handle the day-to-day service delivery across all assigned programs, and ensure brokers and partners meet expected service standards for the timely issuance of accurate local policy and invoice documentation.
  4. Facilitate the collection, review, and submission of necessary documentation, such as certificates of insurance.
  5. Maintain accurate records of insurance transactions, policy details, and policy documentation using the company's internal systems.
  6. Monitor and analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions that could impact multinational insurance programs, providing insights and recommendations to multinational brokers and their clients.
  7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to Howden internal procedures and compliance with income sharing rules.
  8. Assist with the preparation and delivery of reports, presentations, and updates to multinational clients, conveying relevant information about their insurance programs.
  9. Participate in client meetings, workshops, and conferences to enhance relationships, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Who we’re looking for

  1. 2-3 years of experience working with multinational insurance brokers.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with international brokers and internal stakeholders.
  3. Highly motivated and able to work autonomously and on own initiative.
  4. Computer literacy required: IT packages, MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  5. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  6. Experience in insurance coordination, multinational insurance, or related roles.
  7. Understanding of international insurance regulations, practices, market trends, and use of Axco.
  8. Fluent in English.
  9. Second language (Spanish) is desirable.
