Job summary
A recruitment agency in the United Kingdom seeks an Events Assistant for a temporary role lasting up to 3 months. Skills
Express Recruitment is seeking a highly organized Events Assistant to coordinate events and provide efficient administration support for two large upcoming exhibitions in Derby and Birmingham. The role includes approximately four weeks working away for exhibitions and will provide fully paid expenses and accommodation.
- Co‑ordinate event logistics and support the independent exhibition team.
- Manage event enquiries via phone, email, and face‑to‑face.
- Prepare exhibition content, promotional materials, and documentation.
- Engage with suppliers and on‑site staff when required.
- Provide front‑of‑house support during events and signpost where necessary.
- Previous events or office experience.
- Ability to work in fast‑paced environments.
- Confidence in dealing with clients and customers face‑to‑face and over the phone.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Polite and professional manner.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (7:00 am to 6:30 pm for on‑site hours)
Salary: £12.21 to £13.00 per hour, D.O.E.
Location: Nottingham City Centre; travel required to Birmingham and Derby during assignment.
Job Type: Temporary for approximately 3 months, with potential to extend.
