Are you a Civil Infrastructure Engineer looking to grow your expertise on projects across the world? Buro Happold is recruiting a Senior, Principal, or Associate Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure Group based in Leeds.

Working as part of the UK Infrastructure Group, you will provide solutions to local infrastructure and utility needs, and plan entire cities globally, offering an integrated multi-disciplinary service throughout the project lifecycle, from planning through to design and implementation.

Your next role:

Be part of an exceptional team tackling technically demanding projects and industry challenges, such as reducing embodied carbon and adopting modern infrastructure design methods.

Key Duties:

• Manage multidisciplinary project delivery, balancing demands and priorities, reviewing civil infrastructure design from proposal to construction, and overseeing project resources and finances.
• Lead technical staff, contribute to workload planning, mentor junior team members, and support staff development.
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and schedules.
• Participate in work-winning activities to secure project pipelines, applying customer focus.

Your Skills & Experience:

• Strong background in infrastructure design with proven expertise in a core discipline (Highways, Utilities, or Sustainable Drainage).
• Experience managing multidisciplinary projects, with excellent communication and team motivation skills.
• Willingness to travel and commitment to continuous quality improvement.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and MicroDrainage.
• Membership in a relevant professional institution.
