Our Infrastructure and Capital Projects team has an exciting opportunity within the team for a Senior Manager level candidate with experience in the Energy and Renewables sectors. The role will combine typical project, commercial and corporate finance skills. The individual will work within a vibrant team advising government and private sector clients through all stages of the contracting life cycle of high profile and complex public sector programmes across a range of sectors. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on the major commercial and financial decisions.
• Independently managing an engagement / major workstream in a large programme with routine senior oversight.
• Being responsible for providing day-to-day oversight, leadership and support for more junior team members.
• Preparing research documents and proposals to support business development.

The individual will also be expected support on a range of non-client facing activities including:

• Working closely with the Directors and Partners to deliver marketing and business development activity; and
• Preparation of research documents and proposals.

Technical skills and experience:

• Experience in a commercial or finance-focussed role within government, a private sector bidder or another advisory firm working on one or more of: PPP, project finance, outsourcing, franchising or similar service contracts;
• Motivated, with a real enthusiasm and understanding for the financial, commercial, and regulatory landscape within the energy and renewables sectors.
• An understanding of the financial and commercial aspects of government infrastructure, technology and/or service contracts;
• Experience of working with financial models;
• Proven ability to lead project teams, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus in multi-party environments.
• Extensive experience working in the Energy & Renewables sectors
• Experience of designing and building complex financial analysis;
• A recognised procurement, accountancy or financial qualification (full or part qualified); and
• Experience in business case development and strategic report writing for major energy & renewables projects.

Infrastructure and Real Estate

Our Infrastructure and Real Estate team supports both public and private sector clients on complex infrastructure, real estate, and capital projects.Typical engagements include urban regeneration, transport, energy and renewables, and occupier advisory to central government and large corporate companies.
