Purchasing carbon credits and CDR through the carbon markets is one of the most established and scalable ways to channel finance to effective climate solutions and work toward societal net zero. Our data and software independently and accurately validates the impact of carbon projects that capture, remove, or avoid emission whether they are up and running, or in development. Our team is made up of leading minds in climate change from scientists to policy, finance, and carbon market experts. We work in partnership with scientific organizations, universities, governments, and think tanks to develop and implement rigorous and holistic project assessment methodologies, leveraging the latest technology. What you’ll be doing

As a key player in this rapidly evolving space, we are growing our commercial team in the APAC region and hiring an exceptional, self-motivated Sales Development Representative to support and drive pipeline. You’ll be working closely with dedicated Account Executives and the rest of our commercial and marketing team.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting
  • Identify product fit and schedule meetings with accounts
  • Strategize with Account Executives to target prospect accounts to fill pipeline
  • Conduct high-level conversations with all levels up to C-Suite and VP-level Executives to address their sustainability goals
  • Create strategic emails and outbound campaigns to target prospect accounts
  • Continuously maintain and update CRM
  • Achieve monthly qualified opportunity metrics and daily KPIs
Requirements
  • 2+ years experience in business development, sales or related field with lead qualification at all levels within organisations – managers, directors, VPs, executives
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin. Japanese would be a bonus!
  • Full professional proficiency in required languages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous business development or sales experience
  • Cares deeply about the climate and ecosystems of the earth
  • Is a self-starter who thrives in constantly evolving environments, ideally with early-stage experience
  • Wants to bring their creativity and ideas to help us build our business and progress the world to Net Zero goals
