Role Purpose

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for delivering and executing the marketing strategy set by HQ at a local level. This is a highly practical, hands‑on role that takes ownership of on-the-ground marketing activity, ensuring campaigns, activations, and content are delivered to a high standard and reflect brand guidelines.

The role will act as the local marketing lead on‑site, coordinating logistics, suppliers, guests, and influencers, while feeding insights and performance data back to HQ. This role requires the successful applicant to have a strong understanding of the local market, direct competitors, seasonal influences plus customer trends and expectations so that opportunities can be identified and exploited.

This position suits someone with professional marketing experience who understands workplace processes, is not afraid to use their initiative to problem‑solve creatively, enjoys execution and being involved in all aspects of marketing delivery.

Reporting To

Marketing Manager / Head of Marketing (HQ) with dotted line to Local General Manager

Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Activation Execution
  • Take the on‑site lead for marketing activations and promotions, ensuring smooth delivery from planning through to execution.
  • Coordinate logistics for local campaigns, including timelines, suppliers, internal teams, and venue readiness.
  • Support HQ‑led campaigns by adapting and implementing them locally while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Assist with seasonal, event‑led, and tactical promotions.
Content, Collateral & Asset Management
  • Brief and coordinate local collateral development and print (posters, flyers, in‑venue signage, etc.).
  • Ensure all locally used assets are current, approved, and aligned with HQ brand guidelines.
  • Support photoshoots and video shoots on‑site, including logistics, setup, and coordination with photographers, videographers, and internal teams.
Guest, Influencer & Partner Engagement
  • Act as the on‑site marketing contact for guests, influencers, and partners during visits and activations.
  • Coordinate influencer visits, including scheduling, hosting, and ensuring deliverables are captured.
  • Build positive relationships with local partners and contributors.
Competitor & Market Awareness
  • Maintain a strong understanding of local competitors, including:
  • Activations, partnerships and promotions
  • Market positioning
  • Pricing and customer experience
  • Share competitor insights and local market feedback with HQ to inform and assist with strategy and planning.
Administration, Reporting & Process
  • Track activity delivery and provide feedback on campaign performance to HQ.
  • Collect post‑activation feedback and insights from guests and teams.
  • Follow internal marketing processes while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency locally.
Skills & Experience
Essential
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a marketing, communications, or coordination role (agency or in‑house).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Confident communicator who is comfortable dealing with guests, influencers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Hands‑on, proactive attitude with a willingness to be on‑site and involved in delivery.
  • Good understanding of social media platforms and content execution.
Desirable
  • Experience supporting events, activations, or promotions.
  • Exposure to working with external suppliers (printers, photographers, agencies).
  • Interest in lifestyle, leisure, hospitality, or entertainment sectors.
