Join the Derby City Podiatry Team as our Decontamination Technician, servicing Village Community Medical Centre and satellite clinics.
The Decontamination Technician role provides effective and efficient decontamination of reusable instrumentation for the use of patient care. The role includes transporting clean and used instruments to clinics around Derby City and South Derbyshire.
This role also includes health and safety audit administration and cleaning duties to help maintain the Podiatry service.
You will be part of a highly motivated team, providing a high standard of clinical care.
Our purpose is to provide community health services to a patient population of one million people in Derbyshire and Derby, as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire.
We employ around 4,200 substantive staff caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes, and increasingly in people's own homes and via virtual consultations.
