• Contributing to the product shape and form by providing robust testing integrated in the complex CI/CD environment. Develop automated tests on a scale
• A full and comprehensive understanding of the architecture of the product is necessary as only with this understanding is it possible to test it independently and effectively
• Taking part in Scaled Agile software development process performing tasks including coding and testing modules, maintaining, and tuning applications and related components
• Participating in troubleshooting/task identification, work effort estimates, and work schedules for development and maintenance activities
• Ensuring that all tasks are performed in accordance with specific internal procedures and standards, as well as the industry’s best practices
• Ensuring and demonstrating code quality through comprehensive and effective unit testing coverage
• If necessary, take responsibility for maintaining and continuously developing testing frameworks and actual automation testing of backend platform. This includes everything from unit testing down to full scale automated integration testing

• Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent (master’s degree preferred). Candidates with an equivalent education plus relevant work experience may also be considered
• 3+ years of development experience in high level language
• Habitual learning of new things is a must. While this sounds trivial, the applicant will not last in the position unless he is comfortable with constant learning
• Respect for Computer Science fundamentals, design patterns, and development best practices
• Understanding Agile Methodology and Principles is a must
• Familiarity with cross-cultural distributed teams spanning EMEA, APAC, and US
• Must be comfortable communicating with development teams, Product Owners in English
• High level of personal accountability, as evidenced by their commitment, resilience, ownership, and mindset toward continuous learning
• Continuous improvement - must be constantly growing one’s craft, learning new tools and techniques, and sharing these within and among teams
• Understand that their role in the organization is broader than the details included in this job description
• Excellent interpersonal skills – the ability to work with diverse personality types
• Routine knowledge of software engineering such as git, unit testing, SQL fundamentals and Rest Api are taken for granted
• Working knowledge of one of major cloud services providers such as AWS is a requirement
• Familiarity with cloud services design and development
• Knowledge of terraform or cloudformation scripting and ability to contribute to scripted infrastructure and CI/CD a big plus
