Stage of 4 to 6 months located at Cholet (49).

Duration 4-6 months.

Develop a tool for efficient test coverage tracking while minimizing memory and processor load on embedded systems with very limited memory resources.

• Analyze the current gcov behavior and constraints of memory‑reduced embedded environments.
• Propose and implement optimizations to limit the memory footprint of gcov (data compression, granularity reduction, incremental recording, etc.).
• Adapt the gcov software to facilitate integration into embedded platforms.
• Conduct validation tests on target boards.
• Write technical documentation on the adaptations performed.

You are in a Bac+4 to Bac+5 formation in embedded computer science and looking for a 4 to 6 month internship.

You have good knowledge in C/C++.

You are familiar with embedded environments.

You have an interest in software quality.

Your ability to work autonomously and propose innovative solutions are assets recognized.
