Senior Backend Engineer (TypeScript) for Prisma Postgres
Job summary
A cutting-edge data technology company in Paris is seeking an experienced software engineer to join its Prisma Data Platform team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in agile software engineering, proficient in TypeScript, NodeJS, and Golang, and experienced with distributed systems and database technologies. You will contribute to the development of innovative database solutions with flexible remote work options and a strong emphasis on team collaboration and growth.

- 8+ years experience in agile software engineering teams delivering web applications.
- Experience in building and scaling distributed systems.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and APIs (GraphQL/REST).

- Structured thought process and effective planning.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and deploy a websocket server for Prisma Postgres.
- Work with ORM team to define server protocol.
- Deploy a globally distributed configuration store for authentication secrets.
- Improve automation of bare metal servers.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues.
