Production Manager - France

At its core, the Production Manager’s role is grounded in partnering with voice-over talent, studios, and sound engineers in the target market to produce high-quality audio content across all formats on Pocket FM. The role involves actively engaging with the internal production team, VO talent, sound engineers, and studios (both in-house and outsourced) to work on sound designs and optimize production quality for an immersive listening experience.

The successful candidate will combine a passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with curiosity for innovation and data, to define the audio production strategy and playbook. Responsibilities include leading and supporting a team of producers and audio leads to create engaging shows that maximize listener retention across all stages.

• Manage the production schedule for new shows, including overseeing recording sessions and coordinating with sound engineers and post-production teams.
• Lead all aspects of audio production: scheduling, recording, assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.
• Oversee sound design, production processes, and final output quality.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of related experience in TV, content, audio production, or programming.
• Command of French (native) and English (fluent).
• Background in audio work is a plus.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about audio production with innovative ideas for creating hit shows.

This position is remote, based anywhere in France, on a 6-month contract.
