Senior Project & Cost Accountant (Construction)
Job summary
A leading construction and logistics firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, at least 10 years of experience in accounting (5 years in the construction or logistics industry), and strong analytical skills. Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks and communication skills in both English and Arabic are essential. The role involves cost management, budgeting, and project-based financial tracking.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, 5 years in construction/logistics.
- Deep knowledge of project accounting and contract billing structures.
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and audit procedures.
Responsibilities
- Oversee general accounting operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage budgeting and financial tracking for projects.
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes.
