Qualifications

  • Fluent in Dutch and English, with French/Swedish as a plus.

Flexis is a new company in the green logistics sector, on a mission to create more sustainable societies and change the way we move through cities.

We will become the primary provider of electrified last mile delivery services through connected solutions and vehicles for our B2B partners and customers.

We are a team of diverse peers looking to create a future company which will grow to 150+ collaborators over the next six months across 3 launch markets.

We aim to rapidly reach a significant size with sales in excess of EUR2Bn. We are thinking big and fast. We will operate at the junction between electric vehicles and the digital world.

he role you could fill:

  • The Key Account Manager mission is to identify a portfolio of 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) or Retailers (consumer goods, food & beverage, pharmaceutical/healthcare) or significant clients in hers /is country, and then initiate, develop, maintain, and expand further the customer relationships.
  • Through a direct and project sales approach, she / he will work in close association with the Customer value proposition & sales support team to understand the customer expectations &challenges aiming to co design a complete solution proposal (vehicle & service sales), negotiate the purchasing contract, implement the solution, and assure the monitoring of the operational execution & related efficiency.
  • In parallel, she / he will also contribute to develop a fine understanding of the market characteristics, main drivers, including country regulatory environment in which its portfolio clients operate.
  • Ultimately, under the direction of the Head of Business Development Northern/ Eastern/Southern Europe, and with the Central support team, the Key Account Manager will support our customers to reach their ESG commitment, improve safety and security for both drivers and pedestrian in urban areas. She / he will improve efficiency & profitability of our customers in the last mile delivery to cope with high & developing demand.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Secure future revenues and profit of the company by initiating customer leads and building a complete recuring client portfolio base (3PL or Retailers).
  • Contribute to build and execute Flexis project commercial strategy in her / his area of responsibility and customers portfolio.
  • Responsible for customer relations, she / he is the speak person of the company innovative solutions in front of clients.
  • In coordination with the rest of the sales team, build a project sales approach specific toeach customer needs.
  • Identify, prioritize customers and customers’ customers on targeted segment for Flexis project within last mile delivery. Define related sales plans.
  • Approach customers with a holistic view, creating awareness of Flexis solutions.
  • Prepare and answer customer tenders when appropriate.
  • Understand customer needs (ESG, financial & operational) and its ecosystem to offer tailor‑made adequate solutions/support.
  • Develop of complete solutions and drive its execution.
  • Follow‑up on implemented solution and drive needed evolution/support through the lifetime of the project (continuous improvement approach).
  • Promote long term partnerships development with customers, strengthening position as best business partner on their transformation journey.
  • Foster collaboration: work as one team with Company Solution Sales Department and other support functions at Flexis
  • Actively listen to customers and give feedback to constantly adapt / improve solution offer match with customer needs both from a product and service perspective.
  • customer centric mindset: bring awareness, understanding and obsession within the whole Flexis organization in coordination with the Company Sales Director

What you bring:

  • Strong sales & negotiations skills including ability to manage customer relationships in complex environments, ability to lead RFQ answers/ tenders and follow up won projects
  • Strong customer obsession with holistic view to build trust.
  • High communication and listening skills. Ability to adapt to different level of management (operational/on the field to top management)
  • Experience in Logistics and/ or Fleet management, ideally LCVs
  • Highly engagement for sustainability transition (environment, health & safety).
  • Able to work cross functionally in project mode.
  • Fluent in Dutch & English. French and/ or Swedish as a plus
  • Agile and eager to learn & share.
  • LCV & Last mile delivery application knowledge would be a plus.
  • Background with E‑mobility would be a plus.
