In the context of brand elevation, the role of the Wholesale Business Analyst is essential to maximise the commercial potential of the brand. It provides visibility on network performance and establishes growth strategies ensuring the profitability and reinforcing the brand's image. A cross‑sectional view of distribution channels is a prerequisite to ensure consistency in the B2B points of sale such as Department Stores, Duty Free, Franchises and Specialty Stores. Consequently, the Business Analyst strengthens synergies between different departments and becomes a key contact for regions and the executive committee.
SALES PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
- Centralize & harmonise sales reports of third‑party sellers (sell‑in, sell‑out, sell‑through, stock coverage).
- Update Power BI reporting to grant visibility and insight to the commercial team.
- Coordinate, centralize and animate both the network & the product performance by monthly performance reviews.
- Develop detailed business reviews about key partners ahead of buyings and during quarterly reviews.
- Be the main contact point for the consolidated worldwide performance.
- Pricing analysis
STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT & BUDGETING
- Be the main contact point for finance for each of the financial key moments: Budget + Revision1 + Revision 2 + 3 Year Strategic plan.
- Develop a strategic plan and network evolution on both medium‑short and long term.
- Translate strategic vision into the different metrics used by other departments.
- Work towards the harmony of different distribution channels to ensure their complementarity.
- Prepare and conduct budget presentations.
BUSINESS & MERCHANDISE PLANNING
- Establish monthly business planning updates to provide internal visibility.
- Calculate monthly invoicing targets per collection and product activity.
- Translate revenue targets by collection into production units per product activity, create the connection between finance and supply departments.
- Ensure the achievement of the monthly and yearly target.
- Engage in strong relations with the business planning & supply department on the monthly production requirements.
- Ensure a fluid and constant stream of information, both bottom‑up and top‑down.
BUYING SESSION
- Work closely with wholesale commercial teams to calculate OTB for all major partners.
- Challenge commercial teams on proposed targets.
- Provide functional assistance for buying platform JOOR, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Update and rework Buying Session reporting in Power BI depending on the requirements and analytical points of view of each collection.
COMPTABILITY
- Follow up of the invoices regarding the commercial department
- Follow up travel expenses
PROFILE
- Master’s Degree
- 5 Years of Experience
- Strong analytical skills, synthetic, autonomous, proactive and agile
- Likes working transversally with other teams
- Excellent knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint
- Fluent in English and French
- International experience is a plus
