Responsibilities:

1. Define the software architecture for next generations of lithography systems, shaping the digital future of ZEISS in semiconductor manufacturing.
2. Find the best solutions for pre- and post-processing of diagnostics data in software structure, technology stack, and development tools, considering hardware, legacy, and performance limitations. This may include AI or classical solutions and hardware support, dealing with massive amounts of data.
3. Analyze system requirements, agree on technical requirements, and propose and decide on options with the team, communicating with internal and external stakeholders such as system designers, software developers, POs, and electronics teams.
4. Guide team members to adhere to the best coding standards, build systems like Azure DevOps Pipelines, and ensure efficient/automated builds, testing, and deployment.

• Proven experience as a software architect or developer applying state-of-the-art solutions for machine data management and analysis. Skilled in UML, design patterns, and approaches like SysML, C4 model, OPM, with tools such as Enterprise Architect.
• Proficiency in C and C++, and experience with build systems like Azure DevOps Pipelines and Git to find optimal solutions.
• Experience developing real-time and non-real-time data management solutions on Linux and bare-metal implementations, optionally with hardware ML processing.
• Excellent communication skills, clarity, empathy, and a passion for solving complex challenges independently and in teams. Good command of English; German is optional.
